|Balogun Moruff Olorunremilekun is an indigene of Lagos Island. He was born on 15th August, 1967 in Lagos Island. He had his primary education in Lagos before he proceeded to Iponri Grammar School, Iporin, Lagos where he pass his West African School Certificate examination.
Balogun attended Lagos State College of Education, Otto-Ijanikin, Lagosand obtained a National Certificate of Education (NCE) in Economics/Business Management. He later proceeded to the University of Ibadan for his Bachelor degree in Guidance and Counseling/Political Science and graduated in 1998. Balogun also hold a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Lagos and a Master’s of Education (M.Ed) in Guidance and Counseling from Lagos State University in 2003 and 2009 Respectively.
Mr. Balogun Moruff Olorunremilekun joined Lagos State Public Service as a Secondary School Teacher and he taught for 20 years before converting to Procurement Cadre in 2012. Balogun as a procurement officer has worked at different MDAs of the State which include Education District I, Agege as Assistant Chief Procurement Officer, later he was posted to Cabinet Office, State Tender Board as Chief Procurement officer between year 2012 and 2015. Presently, he is an Assistant Director in the procurement unit of the Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development.
He is an Associate Member of Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply Management of Nigeria (CIPSMN) and a member of Procurement Officers Association of Nigeria (POAN).
He is married and blessed with three Children.
